Marybeth Briano, RN, Lic Ac

Marybeth Briano has always had a passion for helping others. In 2012 she received a Bachelors in Nursing at Mass College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and was part of the nursing National Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau. Upon graduating nursing school, Marybeth worked as a charge nurse on an adolescent psychiatric unit and then as a triage nurse for a private OB/GYN practice.

Struggling with her own health issues since a young age, she decided to try something that she had only heard about : Acupuncture! Since coming from a strong Western Medical background, she was somewhat skeptical. However, after noticing the pain relief she got was unparalleled to any other Western treatment (including multiple surgeries and procedures) she decided to study acupuncture.

Marybeth received a Masters degree in Chinese and Japanese Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She is currently a licensed RN and Acupuncturist in the state of Massachusetts and recognized by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Kate Zeigler is a licensed acupuncturist, earning her Master’s of Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture. Kate also holds Bachelor and Master degrees from Colby College and Stanford University. Practicing both Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture, Kate integrates a Western understanding of human anatomy and physiology with Eastern diagnostic and treatment principles.

Her training includes extensive clinical work in orthopedic acupuncture, as well as women’s health and pediatrics. In addition to acupuncture and adjunctive techniques (including cupping, moxibustion, and tui na massage), Kate offers her patients lifestyle and dietary support to promote sustainable, holistic treatment of disease and health maintenance.

Kate is particularly interested in the treatment of gynecological and fertility disorders, mood and addiction disorders, and chronic pain management.
